NORDVIK Modular Centralized Control Room

NORDVIK Modular Centralized Control Room

Containerized plant control room for mining crushing lines

Containerized e-house for mining crushing plant control

NORDVIK modular centralized control rooms are purpose-built operator and automation hubs for complete crushing and screening plants. Delivered as a containerized control room in single- or two-storey modules, each unit combines the plant control desk, motor control centre (MCC) and operator workspace in one transportable package. The room is specified for mining crushing lines and for mobile crushing plant automation — primary through tertiary — and it shares signals with NORDVIK electric control cabinets, the ACS and the plant PLC/SCADA so the whole line starts, stops and stays interlocked from one station.

How it works

Working Principle

The modular control room is the brain of the crushing plant. Field sensors and motor starters feed the MCC and the plant PLC; the operator HMI presents line status, interlocking and production rates; and the controller starts, stops and protects every machine in the correct sequence. On NORDVIK lines the room also hosts ACS interfaces, so crusher setting, load and lubrication stay inside safe limits without constant manual intervention. The same package serves a fixed mining crushing plant or a relocatable mobile crushing plant: disconnect, transport the container, and reconnect power and network on the next pad.

Applications

Applications

Mobile crushing plants

Containerized control modules for relocatable mobile crushing and screening plants, including lines in the 700–1,000+ t/h class.

Fixed mine and quarry lines

Permanent centralized control for multi-stage hard-rock crushing circuits, from primary gyratory or jaw through tertiary.

Plant expansions

Adding a second crush and screen stage with a matching control module and a shared SCADA.

E-house packages

Combined electrical house and operator room when the MCC and the control room must travel and commission as one unit.

Materials

Factory-finished steel container shells, industrial switchgear rated for mining duty, and climate-controlled operator interiors.

Why a dedicated plant control room

Configuration options

Modules can be configured as operator-only rooms, combined operator and MCC e-houses, or stacked two-storey packages with stair access and climate control.

Layouts follow your flowsheet — primary gyratory or jaw, secondary and tertiary cones, screens and stockpiling — and can ship with the matching NORDVIK control cabinets and ACS already integrated for mobile crushing plant automation or a fixed mining line.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a modular centralized control room?
It is a factory-built containerized control room — an e-house style module — that houses the plant operator station, automation interfaces and, when specified, the motor control centre. It is the single place from which a complete crushing and screening line is run.
Who is the modular centralized control room for?
It is for mining crushing lines and for mobile crushing plants. Fixed multi-stage circuits and relocatable high-tonnage plants use the same module, which reconnects on the next pad.
How does it integrate with MCC, ACS and PLC/SCADA?
Motor starters and power distribution sit in or beside the module. NORDVIK electric control cabinets and the ACS pass crusher setting, load and lubrication signals into the room, and the plant PLC/SCADA shows line status, alarms and production on the operator HMI.
Single-storey or two-storey?
Both. A single-storey module suits a compact operator room. A two-storey layout typically places the operator room above and the electrical and MCC space below or beside it, which saves footprint on a crowded pad.
What information do you need for a quotation?
Process flowsheet, list of machines and motor powers, preferred voltage and communication standards, and whether the module must be single- or two-storey and relocatable.
